The meetings took place as a trade mission of Brazilian spare parts manufacturers to Russia, organized by the National Syndicate for the Industry of Components for Auto Vehicles Sindipeças and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency Apex-Brasil. Brazil is one of the world 's largest car manufacturers, with 31 assembly plants for the production of motor vehicles, agricultural and special machinery. This makes Brazil a competitive supplier of automotive parts and components for OEM manufacturers and the aftermarket segment.
The purpose of Brazil 's trade mission to Russia was to establish and develop business contacts between Brazilian and Russian automobile industry enterprises.
